Founded in 2014, Planned Purpose is a non-profit organization that was piloted in Oklahoma City, OK with one goal in mind; to create social balance one mind at a time local and to expand nationally. Planned purpose or “3P,” youth mentoring program was created in order to better the quality of life of the youth who live in underprivileged communities. We do so by cultivating relationships between the youth and volunteer adult mentors, developing literacy and technology skills, and become connected to opportunities such as internships, externships, and scholarship programs. We will teach life skills that are not included in a traditional educational setting as well as assist with their traditional educational success.
COMMUNITY. STRENGTH. FUTURE
OUR MISSION STATEMENT
Our mission is to improve the lives of young people from underserved communities nationally through innovative, technology-based approaches to life mentoring and education. We also dedicate ourselves to serving our disabled veteran population throughout the world, as well as feeding the homeless on a weekly basis.
WHO WE SERVE
Our doors are open to any youth that who are determined and prepared to become a member of our program and dedicate themselves to their on future and become an ambassador to the community. WE serve disabled military veterans in areas where they lack support, and we aim to feed the homeless weekly thru partnerships.
As an organization it is our goal to recruit and train a diversified staff that accurately represents the demographic of the communities for which we serve. The same concept applies to the youth we seek for our program. The American society is a melting pot that encompasses people from different backgrounds (i.e. race, gender, religion) and our organization promotes unity and equality.
